Christine Deyoung, RMT
Christine knew from high school that she wanted to become a registered massage therapist. In December 2012, she completed an intensive 3,000-hour program and returned to Port Alberni to begin her career. Growing up in the Alberni Valley, combined with her love for the outdoors and mountains, has deeply connected her to the community. Christine has built a successful practice rooted in these ties.
She has also advanced her expertise by completing certifications in Craniosacral Therapy Levels 1 and 2, Somatoemotional Release Level 1, and a basic certification in Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). Additionally, she attended the well-regarded Anatomy Trains course. These specialized skills complement the broad range of therapeutic modalities Christine is trained to deliver, enhancing the quality of care she provides at Alberni Massage Therapy.
“I have always had a passion for helping people – I fully understand the limitations that follow injury or medical conditions and through massage I would love to use my skills to help others regain their mobility, to improve their health and be able to return to the activities they love”.
